Garden Update:

The 1st box here was planted April 1ish and is looking great everything is growing nicely as you can see with the strawberry pic. I have a few blooms on my tomatoes, jalepenos, squash and cucumbers. the bell pepper is a little behind, but looking nice and healthy. The corn on the left started at about 8 inches tall and now is well over 3 feet for each plant. The chard and basil are still producing very well so if anyone needs a nice bunch of basil, chard or parsley, let us know :-p

This bed was planted about a week or so after the first and there are a few tomatoes (probably 8) popping out of their blooms and some banana peppers (maybe 10ish) ranging from 1 to 8 inches in length. These seedlings were a probably a month farther (grammar?) along then the 1st boxes plants. There is also some mint doing well and leaves of beet seeds popping up. The biggest surprise has been the garlic which started sprouting stalks not even a week after we planted the cloves! By the end of summer, we should have 8 - 10 big garlic heads to enjoy until next spring! WOO HOO!!!
first tomato... about a month away from pickability!

Jackson snipping the first banana pepper (about 4 inches long)...

He was so proud of himself after cutting this off (so were we)! This pepper was about 4 inches long. Maybe coulda waited another week before picking it, but you can taste the spiciness and sweetness of it. Jackson surely enjoyed the bites he had and then we chopped it up into the processor and added it to our homemade salsa. MMmmmm...
