Scarecrow... sorta

Here is our scarecrow! He/she doesn't have a name yet, but he has been very effective in warding off the huge grackles that fly around here. Before we put this guy out here, we had a few very nice looking strawberries that had beak marks or bites right through the shiny red parts... they were just a day or two from pickabilty! FRIKKEN BIRDS!

Yeah, I know he looks pitiful, but I am not on a farm and I don't have any hay or straw! It serves its intended purpose!

I'd like to reach out to anybody who spends 10 seconds viewing our fam blog, to give us a name for the scarecrow! We'll give it say... a week! if there is a good name, we'll start calling him that and we'll give you a big thanks (and maybe a tomato, pepper or something like that). Thanks for checkin' us out!     Daisy used to call one of her babies Uncy-oh-oh and I was just thinking how I was going to miss it.

    OK, so the name of the scarecrow has been decided for a while now, but for some reason, I have been slacking on posts. Jackson liked all of your suggestions, but didn't so he named him Hank instead. Hank the Scarecrow. Dunno where that came from , but it is "growing" on him. Hake has scared away a lot of wildlife including a family of bunnies we have seen recently. Thanks for your input. There should be a new post sometime soon!
